What a design contains
A plan describes your house. It names the exact runs and the exact features, instead of saying the front of the home. It says what color temperature the everyday setting will be. It says where power comes from. And it accounts for the unlit areas, deliberately.
Why the design has to come before the price
You cannot compare two numbers if you do not know what work each one covers. Two quotes can look close and mean nothing alike. When the design comes first, you are comparing the same work. When the price comes first, scope gets trimmed to hit it.Once the plan is written down, the install has a standard to meet rather than a memory to argue with.
